Day 20: Submission Prayer for Ungodly Beliefs

Lord, I choose to be open and submitted to You today. Like David, I cry out to You and tell You my troubles. I ask You to bring my soul out of prison so that I may praise Your name. I trust You to not give me more than I can handle. I can and do trust You to be my protector, my shield, and the revealer of my hurts.

Lord, only You know what lies in darkness, the deepest secrets inside me. I ask that You reveal the deep and hidden things to me and to those whominister to my soul. Search me, and show me the hurts that You want to heal today. I trust You to not reveal more than I can bear.

I give You permission to dig deep for the roots of any hidden memories that are effecting my life. I ask You to take the keys to my heart now, and unlock the doors. By-pass any denial or deception that may be blocking my memory. By-pass anything that has hindered me, or is hindering me, from receiving my healing.

Lord Jesus, I ask You to bring those things to the surface that You want to heal. I ask You to be with me as I re-experience any past hurt and pain. I want to be set free by the power of the Cross and Your shed blood.

“Lord, according to Your Word, in Romans 12: 1 & 2, I choose to submit to the process of being transformed by the renewing of my mind. I ask You to search my heart today, invade my thought life and make me aware of any wrong thinking or blind spots.

I thank You that You have created me in Your image and that You desire to set me free from all negative ways that I view myself, others, and You. I commit my way to You, Lord, knowing that You will establish my thoughts. As You continue to renew my mind, I ask You to give me grace to cooperate with You fully in the process of changing my ungodly beliefs to godly beliefs.

I receive Your mind, Lord Jesus. I declare that I have been redeemed, forgiven, and sanctified. I belong to Christ. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and I shall have victory today as I submit myself to this renewing and transforming process on the authority of and in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen”
